Getting Started

Follow these steps to get Easy Store Credit up and running in your Shopify store.

Install the App

Visit the Shopify App Store listing and click Add app to install Easy Store Credit on your store. Follow the prompts to grant the required permissions.

The app will request permissions to access customer data and store credit settings. These are required for the app to function properly.

Choose Your Plan

After installation, you'll be prompted to select a pricing plan. Start with the Free plan to test the app, or choose a paid plan if you need more customers or rules.

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You can change plans at any time.

Configure Settings

Navigate to the Settings page in the app to configure your preferences:

  • Set default credit expiration (e.g., 90 days)
  • Choose approval workflow mode
  • Configure email notification templates
  • Set fraud prevention thresholds

Create Your First Rule

Create an automated rule to start rewarding customers. Here are some popular examples:

5% Back on All Orders

  • • Credit Type: Percentage
  • • Amount: 5%
  • • Applies To: All products
  • • Customer Target: All customers

$10 on Orders Over $100

  • • Credit Type: Fixed amount
  • • Amount: $10
  • • Minimum order value: $100
  • • Customer Target: All customers

Add Storefront Widget (Optional)

Display customer credit balances on your storefront by adding our widget to the customer account page.

Go to Widgets in the app navigation and enable the account widget. The widget will automatically appear in your customer account section. You can customise colours, text, and layout with a live preview before publishing.

The widget is mobile-responsive and can be customized to match your theme colors.

Import Existing Credits (Optional)

If you're migrating from another system, you can import existing credit balances via CSV.

Download our CSV template, fill in customer emails and credit amounts, then upload the file on the Customers page.
